WE WON...Deadliest Catch took home all 4 emmies we were nominated for this past Saturday. This is beyond words and unbelievably awesome. Im just going to place my post from facebook on here until i can gather a final thought.

I have no new words to express the awesomeness of this honor. as said before...humbled is just one of the emotions i'm feeling. I'm very proud and think that our entire team at Deadliest Catch is to thank for putting all of their efforts into making such a kick ass show.

So, I've officially been invited to join the elite Editors of the Film and TV realm, and it took all of about two seconds to accept. It's been a dream of mine to become a member of A.C.E. since i got into this crazy industry. Its moments like these that definitely make all the late nights and long hours worth it. Totally stoked.

Emmy's 2010

We didn't take the Editing Emmy home this year but it's been an amazing honor and very humbling to have my second experience. Couldn't have done it without the amazing team at Deadliest Catch. everyone works so hard to put out an amazing product...not to mention how flippin bad-ass and fun the people I work with are. Congrats are in order though for Bob our sound mixer who took home his first Emmy. What an experience...best time ever

Wow,
I cant even express how insane it is to have received another Prime-time Emmy Nod this year. The Deadliest Catch team is one of the most talented groups of people I've ever worked with. I can't thank them all enough...it was a tough season to work on with the passing of captain Phil. I will update later when I start hearing dates and such for the event.

In february 2010, I was nominated for an American Cinema Editors Eddie award with Kelly Coskran...and holy crap we won! it was an amazing night that I will truly never forget...the acceptance speech that Maressa caught on her camera is on the Videos page.

End of year update

wow, its already November, where in the hell did the year go. Anyways, its been a crazy one...Worked on a junk load of new projects...One of which will be coming out early 2010...It's called Motor City Motors...It's hosted by these dudes here...The Detroit Bros.
Oh yea...the Emmys were crazy amazing fun, and although I didn't win, it was definitely the experience of a lifetime...
So that's the quick update thus far...check back soon for more updates and what not

Eminated for a Nommy...er...an EMMY !

Holly crap...I was nominated for an Emmy for my work on Deadliest Catch...It's probably the coolest damn thing ever and I am totally still in shock...It's a great honor in itself to be held up there with some of the best stuff out there...but it can't go without saying that its always a huge team effort with the entire Catch team to make just one episode possible...I owe everything to them for being there every step of the way and always helping bring this show to the next level...the Awards are September 12 2009...wish us luck, we are also up for Cinematography, Best non-fiction program, and audio design...thanks again to everyone out there for your support over the years...fingers crossed

Deadliest Catch has premiered ladies and gentlemen...to the biggest ratings its seen to date...if you get a chance check out the next episode on APRIL 28th...I edited that bad boy and love it to death...Also just finished the KNB effects Group Reel...I'll post a link once their site is up and running...busy times in the Pab realm...oooo and i've started posting things i've done in the video section...the video quality isnt amazing or anything...but its a start...for passwords, just email me or give me a ring...they will be given out sparingly due to liscenceing and junk...ill update soon

yea I suck at the updating process, but here goes...Currently on my second episode of Deadliest catch for the season, worked on a sizzle reel for a new show coming out...its pretty Effen sweet...possibly doing KNB Effects Demo reel, just waiting on word...its been a crazy few months but i will definitely try and update this bad boy more often...

So res and I are going to be hitting up the Queen Mary with some friends...For those of you don't know...it was a ship that brought patrons from the U.S to Europe in the early 1900's...it was then drafted to use in World War 2...It now is based in Long beach and is supposedly crazy haunted...I'll be posting any photos I take while touring the inner workings of the ship...until then I'm still rocking out the Deadliest Catch...It's looking like another insane season on the bearing sea and will be premiering in April...
